All of my jewelry and decorative items such as Wind Spinners, Ornaments, and Ornament Hooks are designed and handcrafted by me using only my hands, a small assortment of tools, and high quality materials. I work mostly in .925 Sterling Silver and Copper, other metals I work with from time to time may include Rose Gold Fill, Nickel Silver, Brass, and Aluminum. In the beginning, I used mostly "cold" connections (non soldered). As I've advanced in my craft, I've added "hot" connections (soldered); much of my work now is a combination of both techniques.
Most of my work is one-of-a-kind, a few items may be "few-of-a-kind"....though a particular design may be repeated, I usually do not make exact copies. I am not a mass producer or a large company....I am one person making genuinely handcrafted works of wearable and decorative art, because that's what I love to do.
Many of my jewelry pieces, and even some of my decorative items, feature centuries old chainmaille techniques; most of my jewelry incorporates various types of beads...semi precious stone beads, Swarovski Crystal beads, Sterling Silver beads, pewter beads, gold fill beads, lampwork beads...anything that catches my eye. I also use vintage silverplate flatware...mostly spoons and forks, in some of my work. I do vintage silverplate spoon chimes, pendants, & bracelets.
