I met an older blacksmith who thought my work with horseshoe nails was pretty cool....he told me about making tiny spoons from horseshoe nails years ago when he was doing demonstrations....so of course I HAD to see if I could do it....and VOILA! Here it is....admittedly with a little help from my favorite guy who gave me a HUGE hammer to help in getting the base large enough to make the spoon "bowl".
A single horseshoe nail is hammered, forged, twisted, domed, and sanded into a little teeny spoon pendant.
Comes on an 18" black leather cord necklace.
