I originally made this for all my Deep Creek Lake, Garretty County, Md, friends, customers, and fans...I've been doing festivals in Garrett County for a number of years, and it's actually where I got my start. The people, both locals and visitors, are friendly and very supportive of the arts. It's a beautiful area and perfect for a summer or winter vacation, whether it be a week-long getaway or a nice little day trip. Bears are pretty much synonomous with Western Maryland, Garrett County in particular, and I thought I'd do a copper bear ornament in honor of that....and give visitors to the area a nice little souvenir of their trip, done my way :)
