Fork cricket / fork bug....some people think it looks like a grasshopper or praying mantis. It's all in the eye of the beholder...but my original intent was as a cricket.
Formed by hand and hand tools, from a single fork. Your choice of a cricket made using either a vintage silverplate fork in a bright or a patinaed/antiqued dark finish, or a stainless steel fork.
*****As each one is hand made, one at a time, your cricket will be unique and have it's own personality....patterns will vary from those pictured, I never know which patterns I'm going to find when "shopping" for vintage flatware....let me choose the one for you.
Measures approx. 2 1/2-3 inches in width, 1 1/4-1-3/4 inches tall, give or take a bit, depending on the size of the fork used.
